HOURS

The Librarian is at Hamilton alternating weeks.

The library has a dual function of supporting the subject curriculum by providing fiction, non-fiction, and reference materials. In addition, the library also provides recreational reading materials in a variety of subjects and difficulty. All materials are previewed and approved in accordance with LBUSD policy.

Policies

• Students must present an ID card to check out books
• Students can check out three items for 8 weeks
• Materials can be renewed as necessary
• No overdue fines are collected; however, no other materials may be checked out until books are returned
• Students must pay for damaged or lost books. If lost books are found, the money will be refunded by the district if returned within one school year

Before and after school students may:

• check out or return library books
• work on school assignments
• work on the computers
• read 
• meet with friends and socialize
